The Port Authority Transit Corporation (PATCO) Hi-Speedline connects South Jersey suburbs with Center City. More than 38,000 passengers commute daily from 13 different stations on this 14.2-mile rail line. New Jersey Transit is the nation’s third-largest provider of bus and commuter rail service. Its bus system offers local service and long-distance service, connecting southern New Jersey communities with Center City Philadelphia, North Jersey and New York. The Atlantic City Rail Line connects Philadelphia to Atlantic City and the River LINE light rail, which opened in 2004, connects Trenton directly to Camden.
